I was very hesitant to engage again with a realtor. Having bought and sold 8 homes in my lifetime, I can honestly say the experience were all the same and somewhat disappointing. I am a business owner and have been in sales myself and I pride myself on deliver the best service to my customers. It’s something I am known for. We came to Paul and were incredibly unhappy with where we living. Our home is also our office and it came time to move and upgrade our home so that we actually wanted to live in it. We cannot thank Paul enough for everything he has done for our family. First, Paul helped relocate us back to Kelowna four years ago, doing Face Time home tours until we found the “right” one to land in. Then, when our world shifted once again, Paul helped us find an incredible home (with the attentive eye of his wife) in Crawford at an amazing price. In two weeks, he listed and sold two separate homes and found us one to purchase... all while we juggled a one-year-old, completing doctoral coursework, working full-time, caregiving for a 91-year-old grandfather, AND living through a pandemic. Paul also solved obstacles including dealing with a pesky moving company, organizing trades to do a quick repair, and coordinating document transfers. My husband and I just finally removed subjects on our deal to purchase a new home, which was a stretch for us on price, and it was hinged on the sale of our home. We had 6 weeks to get an offer in and it wasn't even listed yet! Working with Paul was a great experience. Whether you're looking for things to happen fast or a for a realtor that will be with you long term as you make a huge decision, we experienced both sides of it. We were first time home buyers, with many doubts and questions on purchasing a home. Paul was able to help us every step of the way from assisting in recommending a mortgage broker to home inspector as well as and others, everyone Paul recommended was top notch. Our process was longer than most (over 2 years!) as we were not thrilled on the price range we initially qualified for, but throughout that time Paul kept in touch, with emails, and phone calls to say hi and see how things were, which were much more personal than the generic realtor emails. After we made the decision we were ready and qualified for a higher mortgage we began a more detailed search and without Paul we might have missed the opportunity on our home. As he made sure we knew about ever new listing in our target price range and desired neighborhoods. Our house was listed, Paul got us into the house the next day and we knew it was right and we had the offer written the same day (even though he promised his wife no work that afternoon, he crunched some late hours to get it done us). Paul's help didn’t stop there though as there were a couple unique scenarios that were added as subjects to closing, and not only did he do a vast amount of research for us but (with our permission) put the deal on the line to the other realtor to make sure we and our investment were protected in the long run. All said and done we couldn’t be happier with how things went from start to finish and I don’t believe I could say that if Paul wasn’t our guy. So, if you're looking for a realtor that will make the process a personal experience and not a business transaction and that will do more then you expect to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible we highly recommend Paul Mondoux! "After a not so great experience with the sale of our prior home (a different realtor who rarely returned calls and texts and gave us the impression every time we spoke that it was a inconvenience) we were not looking forward to finding a new realtor to purchase a investment property. A good friend recommended Paul to me when I told her I was thinking about selling my house. Turns out this was the best possible recommendation I have ever been given! I emailed Paul through his website, expecting a return email or call back within a day or two. Within a half an hour, Paul called me and I immediately got the sense that he was someone I could trust and would enjoy working with to sell my house and buy a new home. As a first time seller and buyer, I really had no idea what needed to be done or how to do it. From the outset, Paul was reassuring, professional, confident and extremely knowledgeable. He was realistic in terms of what I could expect to get for my house, and explained his reasoning for the list price. He listed my house house on a Friday around noon. By 2pm, Paul was texting me with showing appointments for that weekend - five showings on Saturday and five showings on Sunday resulted in a multiple offer situation at above asking price! Then it was time to go shopping for a new home. Paul took me on three showings and the minute I walked into the third place, I knew it was "it". He put an offer in on my behalf that evening, and continued to negotiate the terms of the seller's counter-offer over the next couple of days that resulted in a deal that I was extremely happy with ??
